PHILOSOPHY
NOLJAK is built on the belief that real-object observation creates thinking, thinking becomes creative expression, and confident expression leads to a child's growth.
This belief began with 30 years of early childhood education experience — the work of Founder SunKyung Jang.
Meet Founder SunKyung JangGOLDEN TIME
Ages 3–10. The most important window of growth.
This is when a child's senses turn into thoughts. When experience becomes knowledge. Noljak designed a precise 6-year roadmap for exactly this window — because what happens here shapes everything that follows.

Thoughtful Observation
Observation is more than looking — it is discovering meaning.
Every child notices something different, even looking at the same object. NOLJAK has children observe real objects. The moment they touch, smell, and experience with all five senses, they discover something no one else sees — and that difference becomes their originality.
For a child, learning that begins with real-object observation is the most beautiful and precious kind of learning.
Creative Expression
Expression is the creative act of connecting thought to the world.
Creative expression isn't about making something new — it's the ability to express your own meaning in your own way. Children turn what they observe and question into drawings and stories. In that process, thinking deepens and expression grows sharper.
Thinking is only completed when it is expressed.

NOTEC Learning Model
At NOLJAK, learning is not a straight line — it's a cycle.
Notice
Noticing something unfamiliar — children become aware through curiosity.
Observe
Observing deeply with all five senses — touching, seeing, and feeling real objects to discover meaning.
Think
Expanding thought through questions — asking why, and imagining it differently.
Express
Bringing thought into the world — turning observation and thinking into drawing and story.
Complete
Finishing, then beginning again — the experience of completion becomes confidence, leading to new observation.
When results are emphasized, children stop learning. Children learn and grow joyfully within the process.
NOLJAK's NOTEC Model doesn't end after one round. It repeats in a spiral, supporting a child's growth.
“Observation is the foundation of everything — art, learning, and life all begin with observation.”
The NOLJAK Effect
Three changes NOLJAK education creates
01
Children learn to express themselves
They gain the confidence to speak and draw their own thoughts with conviction.
02
Children learn to think
They build self-directed thinking by questioning and finding answers on their own.
03
Children learn to finish what they start
They gain self-efficacy through the achievement of completing what they begin.
